MBAChina網(wǎng)訊】近期,第二期正念沙龍?jiān)?a target="_blank">西浦國際商學(xué)院(IBSS)舉辦。我們邀請到了來自英國的Chris Tamdjidi,他不僅是卡拉帕和卡拉帕酒店的聯(lián)合創(chuàng)始人和董事,還曾在英國議會(huì)就正念發(fā)言,領(lǐng)導(dǎo)德國議會(huì)的項(xiàng)目,還在牛津正念中心教授大師課,有著至少10年的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力發(fā)展經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

Recently, the 2nd mindfulness salon was held in IBSS successfully. We invited Chris Tamdjidi from Europe, the co-founder and director of the Kalapa Academy and Kalapa hotels. He had given a speech on mindfulness to the UK Parliament, led mindfulness project for German Parliament. He also teaches master classes at the Oxford Mindfulness Center and has at least 10 years of leadership development experience.

內(nèi)容回顧

當(dāng)今時(shí)代世界充滿了越來越多的不確定性。如同需要一個(gè)健康的身體一樣,人們還需要一個(gè)堅(jiān)定而專注的大腦,去適應(yīng)快節(jié)奏的生活和充斥著干擾的信息。

Today’s world faces more and more uncertainties. Just as we need a healthy body, we also need a strong mind to adapt to fast-paced life full of distraction.

正念是有意識(shí)地、不帶任何評判地專注于每一刻不斷展現(xiàn)的體驗(yàn)所產(chǎn)生的一種覺察。

Mindfulness is the awareness that emerges through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally.

壓力被譽(yù)為21世紀(jì)的頭號殺手,然而壓力本身并不是問題,無法從壓力中恢復(fù)才是。被動(dòng)接收的海量負(fù)面新聞,無處不在的外界刺激,讓大腦在無意識(shí)中變得負(fù)面而常常缺失理智。這種情況下,對于情緒和專注力的控制變得更為重要。

Stress is the number one killer in the 21st century, but stress itself is not a big problem. The problem happens when people cannot recover from it. Being passively overloaded with huge amount of negative news, constantly distracted by external stimuli, the mind unconsciously become more negative and lose the sanity. So regulating emotions and attention becomes more and more important.

正念不僅對于個(gè)人生活狀態(tài)有好處,還對于領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力有著卓越的意義。人腦的性能非常強(qiáng)大,甚至超越了優(yōu)秀的計(jì)算機(jī),然而人腦的顯意識(shí)的功能并不出眾。正念,可以幫助開發(fā)大腦的潛意識(shí),達(dá)到提高腦力的作用。同時(shí),正念還可以讓在繁忙工作中的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者,通過活躍副交感神經(jīng)工作的方式,高效地從疲憊中恢復(fù)精力。

Mindfulness is not only beneficial to personal wellbeing, but also can significantly improve leadership. Human’s mind is very powerful, even more powerful than excellent computer, but conscious mind is only part of the mind. Mindfulness can help improve unconscious mind and thus strength our mental capacity. At the same time, mindfulness can help busy leaders to recover efficiently from fatigue by activating parasympathetic work.

正念,并不是消極地“什么都不想”,而是學(xué)會(huì)以堅(jiān)定強(qiáng)大的意念,和喧囂的生活工作環(huán)境共處,和自己紛繁的思緒情緒共處。長期的正念訓(xùn)練有助于建立起一個(gè)積極的生活態(tài)度,同時(shí)又會(huì)心存溫柔,包容世界,悅納自己

Mindfulness is not being passive and “think nothing”, but to learn how to work with fanatic work and life environment, how to work with our own thoughts and emotion. Long-term mindfulness training could help establish a positive attitude towards life, and have a gentle, inclusive, and acceptable attitude to ourselves.

嘉賓Chris帶領(lǐng)聽眾短暫地體驗(yàn)了正念,并鼓勵(lì)大家積極交流冥想的感受。擁抱、悅納負(fù)面情緒,訓(xùn)練自己的核心腦力和心力,已經(jīng)成為了新職場時(shí)代中的必修課。

Chris led a short guided mindfulness meditation and encouraged everyone to share their experiences. Accepting negative emotions, and training your core mental and emotional capabilities have become a necessary skill in the new working world.

活動(dòng)小結(jié)

正念冥想進(jìn)入新的摩登時(shí)代以來,逐漸褪去宗教神秘色彩而多了更多的科學(xué)研究支撐。它不僅在心理治療領(lǐng)域有著重要的地位,還在工作領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力中有著廣泛應(yīng)用的前景。

Mindfulness becomes more accessible to people when it isolated from the mystery of religion and supported by scientific research. It is not only important for psychotherapy, but could be applied widely in workplace and leadership.

這次正念沙龍的參與者跨度很廣,不僅有來自不同國家的本科生、研究生,還有已經(jīng)有著豐富工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)的職業(yè)人士。在不同生活狀態(tài)中的人群,都可以嘗試將正念變成習(xí)慣,融入自己的生活方式。

The participants in the salon came from various background, including undergraduate students, postgraduate students and professionals who came after work. People from all different kinds of background could try to cultivate the habit of mindfulness and incorporate it into their own life.
