【MBAChina網(wǎng)訊】10月20日晚，西浦國(guó)際商學(xué)院（IBSS）舉辦了國(guó)際工商管理（IMBA）項(xiàng)目校友聚會(huì)，70多院校友、西浦國(guó)際商學(xué)院教職人員以及受邀嘉賓參加了本次活動(dòng)。

More than 70 alumni, IBSS faculty and guests attended the IMBA alumni gathering in IBSS on the evening of October 20th.

IMBA項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人David Dufour主持了該活動(dòng)。

西浦國(guó)際商學(xué)院代理院長(zhǎng)Hossam Ismail教授出席了本次活動(dòng)，并發(fā)表了歡迎致辭。他在致辭中介紹了IBSS的使命和愿景，以及IBSS取得的成就：“IBSS是一所年輕的學(xué)校，我們從第一屆僅有6位IMBA學(xué)生發(fā)展到現(xiàn)在的18位。今年，IBSS商學(xué)院正式啟用新大樓，并取得了EQUIS認(rèn)證，進(jìn)而成為了取得AACSB與EQUIS雙認(rèn)證最年輕的商學(xué)院。我相信，在未來，IBSS能有更長(zhǎng)足的發(fā)展?！盚ossam Ismail教授同時(shí)也感謝他們對(duì)西浦國(guó)際商學(xué)院的支持。

Professor Hossam Ismail, acting dean of IBSS, attended this gathering and delivered a welcome speech. He introduced mission and vision of IBSS. Also, Professor Hossam Ismail introduced the achievements of IBSS: “IBSS is a young school, IMBA programme has developed from only 6 students to 18 students since the programme launched. We moved to new building and achieved accreditation from EQUIS this year. IBSS becomes the youngest business school to achieve both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations in the world. I believe IBSS will have a better future” Professor Hossam Ismail also thanked them for the support of IBSS.

隨后，西浦國(guó)際商學(xué)院實(shí)踐教授Roberto Dona給大家?guī)砹岁P(guān)于校企合作的心得分享。他談到IMBA項(xiàng)目是個(gè)短暫卻又漫長(zhǎng)的旅途，作為IMBA項(xiàng)目從零開始的見證人，他對(duì)這一項(xiàng)目的發(fā)展前景充滿希望。IBSS一直致力于尋求效益最大化的校企合作，在使教學(xué)更有效的同時(shí)，為學(xué)生提供更多的社會(huì)資源。最后，Roberto Dona教授用“溫故而知新”來形容IBSS未來的發(fā)展策略。

Subsequently, Roberto Dona, professor of practice of IBSS, introduced collaboration opportunities.He said that IMBA is a short long journey.IMBA programme started from scratch and he is full of bright hope for the future development of IMBA. IBSS is committed to maximizing business engagement, making teaching more effective and generating more resources for schools.In the end, Professor Roberto Dona described the future development strategy of IBSS with “Confucius”, which is learn the past and develop future.

西浦國(guó)際商學(xué)院Nimesh Salike副教授分享了對(duì)于近期熱點(diǎn)——中美貿(mào)易戰(zhàn)的一些看法并提出了應(yīng)對(duì)措施。他的研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)閲?guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展，主要針對(duì)貿(mào)易、外資投資以及一體化等課題。他以學(xué)術(shù)知識(shí)為基礎(chǔ)，從宏觀角度分析了中美兩國(guó)的處境，并從中尋找中國(guó)可以抓住的機(jī)會(huì)。他談到，關(guān)稅的影響使得消費(fèi)者盈余減少、生產(chǎn)者盈余增加以及稅收增加，但是會(huì)使得市場(chǎng)盈余損失。面對(duì)美國(guó)殘酷的現(xiàn)實(shí)，正確的解決方法是：“協(xié)商溝通，開放中國(guó)市場(chǎng)，獲得更好的只是產(chǎn)權(quán)合同以及關(guān)注服務(wù)業(yè)?！彼蔡岬剑骸肮I(yè)升級(jí)是中國(guó)發(fā)展的關(guān)鍵，中國(guó)企業(yè)應(yīng)該開辟新市場(chǎng)?！?/p>

Nimesh Salike, Associate professor of IBSS, shared his views on recent hotspot: China-US trade war. His research interests lies on international and development economics, primarily focusing on trade, foreign direct investment and integration. He put forward more of academic viewpoint to analyse US’s and China’s position from Macro perspective, and he tried to find out opportunities for China. He said that the effect of tariff would decline consumer surplus and increase producer surplus and tax revenue. However, there will be societal loss. He gave his comment: “China should have more negotiation, open up Chinese market, get better IPR deals and focus on services industry. Also, industrial upgrading is key for China and China should look for alternative market.”

“It was a great event and really well organized. It made me feel proud of being part of this outstanding community. I do believe Alumni are valuable resources for the University because they could represent one of the main actors to bridge Academic World and Business Practise. Therefore, as it was introduced to us during the reunion, I hope there will be more newprojects having collaboration of the business school with the alumni association,promoting the sharing and bidirectional transfer of best practises and pioneering idea from the Academic World to the Business Practises and viceversa; creating value and make a real impact in the local social, academic and business environment (that is the Mission and highest contribution of the Business School).
