The world is wary with fear of the virus lurking in the darkness.

2018年11月，博鰲亞洲論壇理事長(zhǎng)、第八任聯(lián)合國(guó)秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)潘基文先生首次來(lái)訪清華大學(xué)，出席由清華大學(xué)全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究院（Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University）主辦“新文明城市與可持續(xù)發(fā)展論壇”，并發(fā)表《為可持續(xù)的世界而創(chuàng)造新文明城市》主題演講。在論壇上，清華大學(xué)公共管理學(xué)院、潘基文世界公民中心（Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens）、韓國(guó)與時(shí)齋研究院（Yeosijae Future Consensus Institute）三方機(jī)構(gòu)簽署合作備忘錄，為未來(lái)開(kāi)展與城市可持續(xù)發(fā)展領(lǐng)域相關(guān)的研究工作、人才培養(yǎng)，學(xué)術(shù)交流奠定了重要基礎(chǔ)。潘基文先生在最近兩年，多次關(guān)心支持清華大學(xué)全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究院建設(shè)和發(fā)展，建立長(zhǎng)期合作關(guān)系。
