The Chinese government has adopted a wide range of policy measures to prevent and control COVID-19. Prof. Gao has elaborated the major measures against COVID-19 after the outbreak. As the COVID-19 pandemic rages throughout the world, China and United States should cooperate to fight against the pandemic.

目前，中國(guó)已經(jīng)做出了許多努力來控制疫情。具體來說，在早先階段首先是控制疫情的四條路線，即從湖北武漢、北京、湖北附近地區(qū)和中國(guó)各省按照優(yōu)先序?qū)σ咔檫M(jìn)行控制，其中湖北武漢是控制疫情的核心地帶，第二優(yōu)先是北京地區(qū)，采取了一系列措施來防控外地進(jìn)京的感染人員，第三優(yōu)先是湖北附近地區(qū)，目標(biāo)是防止疫情的擴(kuò)散，最后是各省疫情防控；其次是對(duì)各地方疫情風(fēng)險(xiǎn)等級(jí)進(jìn)行劃分，從低風(fēng)險(xiǎn)到高風(fēng)險(xiǎn)分為四個(gè)等級(jí)；最后是做到“早發(fā)現(xiàn)，早報(bào)告，早隔離和早治療”。這些是中國(guó)在疫情防控中所作出的努力。同時(shí)，還使用了非藥物干預(yù)的方法（社交距離等）。通過以上一系列措施，中國(guó)的疫情已經(jīng)得到有效的控制。

The Chinese government has implemented a package of measures to prevent and control the spread of the virus. In the early stages, the first is that we have built four lines to defend COVID-19 in Hubei province, its capital city of Wuhan, Beijing and other provinces of China based on the severity level. Second, we take county-by-county risk assessments and categorized into “Four Risk Levels”. Third, we implemented “Four Earlies” all through the country. Meanwhile, we advocated and carried out the non-pharmaceutical interventions such as social distancing. It is likely that the outbreak can be contained through intensified efforts in the early stage, but coordinated prevention and control efforts nationwide are necessary. China has acted swiftly and effectively contained the COVID-19 outbreak.
