What were the reasons and expectations of participating in the GNW？

As we all know, Behavioral economics is a practical and interesting science. In recent years, some Nobel Laureates in economics come from this field. That\'s why I chose to sign up for the course of IIMB in India. Through the one week study, I learned a lot. For example, people are half human and half rational economic man. This can help us formulate more effective performance management and sales strategies.

What’s your understanding of the topic of the GNW you have participated?

Hey guys, I’m Simon Liu, a MBA student in Renmin University of China. In this GNW, I took part in the Behavior Science of Management which was offered by Yale University. In my opinions, these courses explain a lot about the consumer’s behavior, employee’s behavior, and irrational behavior in financial market.

Hey, everyone. This is Liu Yang Hanlia from IMBA class, Renmin University. During the global network week, I attended the courses of SNU，Seoul National University. Our topic is the global business at the age of the pandemic from the Korean perspective. I believe the global business should be affected by variety of elements, especially the political as well as the economic one. For the Korean cases, the conflicts between US and China, the Japan-Korea rift, as well as the problem of the North Korea, would all be emphasized by the researchers from this field. And all those elements would cross influenced by the pandemic. If we can have a better command of all those elements, we would know how to cope with the global business problems better.

What have you learnt from the GNW?

Hi, I\'m Naveen Fernandez -MBA exchange student from HKUST Business School. This global exchange program with Renmin Business School has provided me a broader perspective of China market and its paradigm shift in Global Value chain with Digitization. It was very inspiring to learn about the Digital Silk Road and how platform-based business models are transforming the traditional businesses in both China and the ASEAN region. Living in a VUCA world, we need to be open to experimentation, and at the same time be comfortable with uncertainties. This program has clearly illustrated the Yin and Yang of today\'s VUCA world.

在3月14-18日舉辦的全球高端管理聯(lián)盟(GNAM)國際交流周期活動(dòng)間，人大MBA項(xiàng)目共派出80名學(xué)生參加包括澳大利亞UNSW商學(xué)院、巴西FGV工商管理學(xué)院、德國ESMT商學(xué)院、韓國SNU商學(xué)院、加拿大UBC商學(xué)院、墨西哥EGADE商學(xué)院、南非UTC商學(xué)院、日本一橋大學(xué)商學(xué)院、土耳其Ko?大學(xué)商學(xué)院、美國耶魯大學(xué)管理學(xué)院、以色列Technion理工學(xué)院、印度IIMB管理學(xué)院、哥斯達(dá)黎加INCAE商學(xué)院、香港科技大學(xué)商學(xué)院等在內(nèi)的聯(lián)盟院校不同主題的課程學(xué)習(xí)和研討交流。
